Summer Street Projects

Northern Berkshire Habitat for Humanity proudly announces the construction of four (4) affordable houses off Summer Street in Williamstown on land obtained from the Williamstown Affordable Housing Trust. These houses will be sold to families earning incomes between 30% and 80% of the average medium income for the area. The successful applicants must show consistent work, manageable debt, and contribute 250 hours of sweat equity in the homes construction. No previous skills are required. The applicant’s mortgage will be set not to exceed 30% of their income.

Homeownership information and applications are available here.

For questions and further information, contact the NBHfH office between 9 and 12 Monday through Friday, phone 413-664-4440 or email office@northberkshirehabitat.org.

Homes will be 1200 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 1 full and a ½ bathroom. Applicants will have input on colors, and cabinetry.

Construction volunteers age 18 and above are always welcome at our worksite and no previous skills are required. Volunteer work days are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings 8:00 am to noon. Come and join the fun.

Thank You!
