The Fund for Williamstown, of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, was created by local residents in 2006 to support new ideas, approaches and collaborations that continue Williamstown's strong history of community improvement. Grants have supported a wide range of projects from youth programs to affordable housing to community cinema. The Fund for Williamstown provided support for our Henderson Road and Main Street projects in Williamstown.
Jack Miller Contractors was formed in 2007 with a focus on serving our customers through traditional craftsmanship, applied building science, and professional project management. We build architect-driven projects in the Berkshires and southern Vermont.
The Makepeace Foundation is administered by the First Congregational Church of Williamstown. Both the Foundation and the Church are long time supporters of Northern Berkshire Habitat, and Church members have been personally involved in our work. The Makepeace Bequest calls for support of specific projects that meet human needs and alleviate suffering. The Foundation has provided support for our last two homes in North Adams and our three completed homes in Williamstown.
